Fastcom's iMVS camera series, with its high dynamic range of 120 dB, a transfer rate of up to 10 Mpixels/s, a spectral area of 400-1000 nm in combination with smart pixel access, and programmable signal processor, has been combined with Silicon Software's microEnable III frame grabber. microEnable III is a 64-bit/66-MHz PCI frame grabber with a programmable image coprocessor on a FPGA, which is adaptable to Fastcom's iMVS camera series for real-time image processing. The application of 100-Mbyte integrated SDRAM memory prevents transfer shortages between camera and host PC.
