Silicon Software extends GigE Vision frame grabber series by new Power over Ethernet (PoE) models
SILICONSOFTWARE releases with microEnable IV AQ4-GPoE and microEnable IV VQ4-GPoE two more frame grabbers of the successful GigabitEthernet family.
Both boards support GigE Vision as well as GenICam. By the PoE funtionality, up to four camera are powered with 48V and up to 30W in total. A power supply is available as optional assessory.
The frame grabber are delivered with extensive acquisition support (Acquisition Applets). Boards of the V series additionally support VisualApplets and SmartApplets, and are pre-licensed for the Base-version.

The fastest PCIe x4 CameraLink frame grabber world-wide
SILICONSOFTWARE is introducing the world’s fastest PCIe x4 frame grabber. This new grabber supports the Basler A406k/kc at its full bandwidth. Basler’s A406k/kc is currently the fastest Camera Link camera.

The microEnable IV series supports the maximum Camera Link speeds via a PCIe x4 interface and reaches a transfer rate of 837 megabytes per second in a 10 tap. Actually a performance of up to 900 megabytes per second is achieved in a maximum data transfer test.

Due to the transfer of the data via one DMA channel into the host RAM, additional processing for image reconstruction is not necessary.
